From Working with Celebrities to GNM: A Little About Me and What I Offer
A Warm Welcome to My New Subscribers.
There are a lot of new subscribers here—hello and welcome to On Being! I had the idea for On Being back in 2021, and now, it’s finally come to life. I absolutely love it here. I clock in and out whenever I want—no pressure, no requirements. It’s pretty cool to just talk and write about whatever I want, though honestly, I probably still hold myself back more than I realise! Anyway... hi! I’m so glad you’re here, and I hope you’ve already learned something valuable by being part of this space.
A little about me (because who doesn’t love talking about themselves 😎):
What nudged me into writing were some big life shifts I went through in 2022. Life changed a lot. I won’t go into all the details now, but one major turning point was discovering German New Medicine. The wisdom and the Five Biological Laws hit me like the best ton of bricks—it felt like knowledge that had been stored in my body all along, just waiting to be activated. That year, I reshaped many of my beliefs around “root causes,” symptoms, hormonal health, acne, and more.
I’ve been a personal trainer and health coach for seven years now, working with incredible people in some really cool places. One of my favourite jobs was in 2019–2020, working for NBC and Fox News in New York City, where I lived for four and a half years (which felt like about 30 lifetimes). It was my third professional role and the first where I really got to expand into integrating health coaching.
Some memories I’m fond of from my time at 30 Rock:

I’m grateful for how many opportunities and lessons have stacked up over the years. I’ve done just about all of it—commercial, residential, corporate wellness, and self-employment.
Another favourite job was working with Exos in NYC as a Performance and Health Coach. Exos works with elite athletes—pro football players, military, and more—as well as corporate wellness programmes. My main focus was corporate wellness, similar to my role at NBC/Fox.
Some fun memories from my time at Exos:

I thrived at NBC and in corporate wellness because I never really cared about “celebrity culture” or “exclusive clients.” I’d walk the SNL floor saying good morning to everyone, casually greeting Seth Meyers when he popped into the gym to use the toilet (he loved our bathrooms!). I’ve just never been that starstruck, which probably served me well. Once, when told Adam Sandler needed to use the gym, I actually asked, “Which one’s Adam Sandler?” Fun stuff.
Over the years, my role as a movement and health coach has shifted a lot.
Still, many fundamentals have remained—always there to come back to.
The basics have a way of coming full circle. Most of us really just need to return to the basics of health and fitness—or at least refresh our consistency and discipline around them.
So, what do I actually offer?
Simply put:
A limited number of one-to-one spots for personal training, movement coaching, and health coaching.
Corporate wellness packages—working with employees and teams, both individually and in groups. (That fitness or health stipend you get at work? That’s where I come in—either through you or directly through your company.)
Group offerings and workshops (stay tuned here and on Instagram).
For individual sessions, there's a simple application process—it helps me get to know you and ensures we're a good fit. I’m not for everyone, and I don’t offer the same services as many typical coaches. I take a more specific, deeper approach—working with you on awareness, mindset, and beliefs, not just handing you a fitness plan and calling it a day.
I mostly work with women who want to get stronger and focus on movement: strength training, calisthenics, primal movement, flexibility, mobility, and more advanced skills like handstands.
Through health coaching, I help you address specific health and lifestyle challenges with practical, personalised guidance. You’ll learn to make better choices that improve your well-being and create a more sustainable way of living. Rooted in the Five Biological Laws of German New Medicine, these sessions offer a deeper understanding of how your mind and body work together—and help you get to the root of your symptoms. We might explore topics like mind-body awareness, nutrition, sleep, women’s cyclical health, shifting beliefs, stress management, and everyday choices that support you in becoming your best self.
Here’s what one client shared:
"I can't say enough great things about my time working with Abby. I have worked with several trainers over the years, but Abby has been the only one to focus on the partnership between my mind and body. She is patient, thoughtful, and creative in her plans, and really listens to my needs and goals. She’s flexible and incredibly knowledgeable—I’ve always been so impressed by her understanding of the body and how different exercises can complement you and your personal needs. Our plans are always fun and different—and most importantly, incredibly effective. Abby also has a strong understanding of nutrition and how exercise and diet can complement each other. She’s truly a good person who cares deeply for her clients and their goals. If you’re looking to build a strong, lasting foundation of health and fitness, I highly recommend working with Abby. You won’t regret it!"
I’ve loved every minute of seeing people’s lives transform—the toolboxes we’ve created, the knowledge clients carry with them for life. It’s truly been one of the greatest honours of my work.
